This year’s second annual Chilled by the River is a laid back, outdoor gathering offering beautiful scenery along Grand Junction’s riverfront. Experience one of the first public events at the new Las Colonias Park Amphitheater and enjoy an evening of music by Head for the Hills. Proceeds benefit United Way of Mesa County, a local nonprofit that solves community issues by building strong families, promoting health and increasing self-reliance.
Tickets include a summery adult beverage for those over 21, lawn games and food truck options (for purchase.) Feel free to bring a chair or a blanket for seating. All ages are welcome. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and music will start at 7:00 p.m.
General admission tickets are $30 for adults and $12 for children 12 & under (children 5 & under are FREE). Tickets are available online at MonumentalEvents.com, by calling 800-626-TIXS, or at the box office at the Avalon Theatre (7th & Main Street in downtown Grand Junction) Monday through Saturday between 12pm and 8pm.
