The city of Grand Junction will proclaim August 5th "Delaney Day" at their next council meeting on August 3rd.
Come celebrate the birth and life of Grand Junction's sweetheart, Delaney Clements. Join us at Delaney's tree to "Shake it Off" and dance in the spirit of the most beautiful fabulous dancing queen.
Come dance under Delaney's tree at the tree lighting ceremony from 7:30 to 8:30pm
To celebrate Delaney Day you can:
Wear the colors Gold and/or Purple, or your favorite Delaney shirt.
Wear a Gold and/or purple Ribbon, hang one on your door, car or business
Post your happy birthday messages to Delaney using the hashtag #happybirthdaydelaney
And if you can't be there in person to Dance for Delaney, post a video of your best Delaney Clements inspired dance moves!
