Monumental Events is looking for new Part-Time Employees!

We are currently looking for some fun and dedicated new employees to join our team at events around the Grand Valley. We provide the box office services for a number of events on the Western Slope such as, the JUCO World Series, Mesa County Fair, West Star Aviation Air Show, Garfield County Fair, events at the Avalon Theatre and many more!

Box Office Attendant

You’d be selling and/or scanning tickets as one of our box office attendants. Events have a fun, high energy, and at times hectic atmosphere and so only those of you with good cash handling and multi-tasking skills will be considered.

Flexibility with scheduling and an upbeat personality are a must! We work in close quarters, brushing shoulders throughout a variety of showtime's, so we want everyone to gel really well.


Tellers: This absolutely requires good “people skills”. You’ll be at the ticketing window, selling new tickets prior to the event or retrieving “Will Call” pickup tickets. All ticket sales are done through our Monumental Events ticketing app and/or website with iPads and ticket printers on location at the events. Cash drawers are assigned and counted back at the end of each shift.

Scanners: Just like it sounds, you’ll be scanning tickets in and out with either a company provided mini iPad or iPod touch. Security detail is provided for most large events, so you won’t need to worry about bag-check or crowd monitoring.

We’re growing quickly! Not only are we looking for a dedicated box office squad, we could be looking to fill some future, full-time, administrative positions soon. So if you have a professional and easy-going personality and can commit to flexible, part-time hours (typically afternoons and evenings), you may just be the right fit for our growing team!
