Press Release: Shuttles available for Grand Junction Air Show

Sunday weather forecast favorable and complimentary Bus Shuttles available for Grand Junction Air Show.

Grand Junction, Colorado, September 30, 2017 – According to the National Weather Service, the forecast is looking favorable for the Grand Junction Air Show scheduled for Sunday, October 1. Gates will open at 8:30am with static displays and vendors followed by a full line-up of performers throughout the day. Due to the extensive rainfall on Saturday, the parking lots will be muddy. Air Show and City officials are recommending that everyone should take proactive measures such as carpooling or using a 4-wheel drive vehicle if possible.

A complimentary shuttle service has been arranged that will transport individuals from both Canyon View Park or Lincoln Park between 8am – 11am to the Grand Junction Air Show and then between 4pm – 6pm from the Grand Junction Air Show back to Canyon View Park and Lincoln Park. The address of each of the Air Show Shuttle locations is:

Please note that the busses will only run to the Air Show between the hours of 8am – 11am. Busses will only return to the parks between the hours of 4pm – 6pm. There is no charge to ride the shuttles.

There are several alternative parking lots available along or adjacent to Horizon Drive including:
HopeWest - 2754 Compass Drive
Gramiger Holdings - 744 Horizon Court
Rocky Mountain Health Plans – 2775, 2779 & 2784 Crossroads Blvd.
Intellitec College - 772 Horizon Drive will also have parking available for $5 per vehicle.
